August 10-11: Provincetown

We took a break from working on the boat to go down to Provincetown – always a fun trip even if this one was much too short! Hat Tip to Amy Callahan for discovering Freeman’s Restaurant, which has only been open for 3 weeks and is such a well-kept secret that it doesn’t even have the name on the door! On the way home we saw plenty of whales off Herring Cove Beach, but sadly I am not a good enough photographer to get any pictures.

The monument – this is the first you see of Provincetown as you sail in. In clear weather you can see it from about 20 miles out.

  1. We always enjoy hearing about your trips to Provincetown. Perhaps one day we will go there ourselves?!?!
