We are still in Hampton, and likely here for another 5-6 days. The weather in the tropics is just not doing what it’s supposed to! The marina has emptied out and a few people have given up; however most of us are still in the area and waiting for a good window to leave. The most likely now looks like Sunday 13th (we had hoped it was going to be Sunday 6th but a tropical system popped up).
Meanwhile, everyone is in good spirits and we’ve enjoyed a stretch of warm weather. Here are some of the things we do to keep ourselves busy:

Pot-luck cookout

Yoga on the docks

Happy Hour on the waterfront (great brew-pub here!)

Side-trip to DC

Catching up on some work

How frustrating. I hope everything goes well for the 13th.

At least the sun seems to be shining. Do so hope that this time next week you will be at sea, sailing towards Antigua. Meanwhile I am sure you are using the delay to make new friends amongst your fellow Salty Dawgs. 🤞🤞🤞 for Sunday.
