Jeremy had a meeting to attend at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge, and it was a good opportunity to check on things at home and see family. We flew back to Boston, getting home just before midnight on the 3rd, and then leaving before dawn on the 5th – we were home less than 30 hours! It was odd to suddenly be in the middle of winter, with Christmas preparations everywhere! We then flew over to London. I spent a few days with my parents, while Jeremy went up to Cambridge. This could well be the first time I’ve spent more than a day in London and not come back with bags full of new clothes. We then went down to Emsworth to stay with Jeremy’s sister and visit his mother. Finally, up to Gatwick to catch a flight back to Antigua. With snow on the ground, freezing fog, and looming strikes all around, it was a relief when our plane took off! Now back in Antigua and preparing for family to visit over the next month.

Cambridge looks beautiful. Lovely to hear all your news first hand while you were with us.
