Finally left the dock at 7:36 a.m. on November 12. Hoping to be across the Gulf Stream around dawn tomorrow. Rushing to publish this before I loose service, so please excuse any typos!

Final weather briefing – we have a window!!! The biggest challenge will be getting across the Gulf Stream before a cold front comes up; after that the passage should be pleasant.

There are boats all around us as we leave Chesapeake Bay – by sunset this evening we may not be able to see anyone!

All happy to be on our way!

How exciting. Am monitoring you on Marine Traffic as well as Forecast Predict. You seem to be sailing quite fast and we hope the trip goes wonderfully well. Have you lost sight of all the other boats?
