The weather has tormented us over the past 24 hours! Huge squalls appeared in the distance but never quite reached us. The wind built to a whopping 10 knots, so we hoisted sails, only to have it drop below 5 again almost immediately. We’ve spent much of the last day changing between sailing and motoring – sails in, out, up, down….. There are two sail boats within about 12 miles of us but we can only see them on AIS, not within eyesight. We expect as we get closer to Bermuda we will start to see more boats converging. It rained most of this morning so we sheltered down below, and Jeremy cooked us an excellent brunch! Everything down below is damp so we are looking forward to some fresher weather to dry things out, but all remain cheerful.
