We moved over to McGlathery Island in Merchant Row and anchored for the night. I followed a pretty path through the woods across the island. On the other side, I met some people who told me it’s possible to walk all the way around the island – so I did. Definitely not one of my finest decisions as I hadn’t realized how far it is, and it involved scrambling over some steep rocks as well as bushwhacking through trees in some places. However, no harm was done and I returned to the boat safely.

Next day we motored back towards Camden and picked up a mooring in Sherman Cove. We enjoyed proper showers, and dinner at the newly rebuilt marina. Lyman Morse had a bad fire a few years ago and also had to rebuild some of their wharves; however the work is complete and the end result is excellent. Next day we had to do provisioning, cleaning and laundry ahead of friends joining us, so we had a busy morning.
